If this was charging me, I would just lay down and let him a have his way.

Dude…
A guy I was cool with in middle school is facing life. I know he did it but fuck. The connection between me and the people that are getting killed or in trouble are getting closer everyday man. All I can do is pray that no one really close to me doesn’t get hurt or get caught up. It just seems like yesterday we was in Middle School in Spanish chopping on each other. I guess it’s because we getting older and people fall astray. People lose their relationship with their authority or their higher power and don’t care about life anymore.
Especially blacks should not being getting caught up because they not gone give you 20 years. They giving our black asses life whether we did it or not. I always joke that I’m a product of my environment when if I really wanted to leave Houston, I would take the steps and I did. The justice system is not made for nigguhs. When you are in there, you are in there.
I hate to make this a race issue because he did put himself in the predicament. But knowing that there is a race issue, black people should be motivated to not get in trouble. Ok I’m venting and I didn’t want to do so but this shit is crazy man.
I’m over here in San Antonio doing biological research and got a job at my apartment, but nigguhs in my hometown are gang banging. We all said we was going to make it man. Especially us Olle kids.
Someone once told me not everybody is going to make it. It’s the balance of the world…I guess there is some truth to that.

Control System Review
So I was totally going to do a track by track review but that was taking wayyyyy too long so Imma just sum up the album in categories and include some songs.
Sound : The overall sound of the Album was pretty chill. No crazy sonics or things like that but there were some heavy banger. Compared Ab-Soul’s other work he really stayed true to his sound. Track Two (the actual name of track 2 lol) had a dramatic string in the back and Ab-Soul was spitting hard. It had great Energy. Bohemian Grove was very cool and chill. It an electric melody with a beat that made the song sound faster. The two that really stuck out was Terrorist Threats and SOPA. Ab-Soul released these songs earlier but I got a chance to listen to the songs in my car when I bought the album and it was amazing with the bass and hearing everything clear. Terrorist Threats had a eerie sound. The ins and outs of what sounded a lot like vocals during the vocals. SOPA had just the banger bass and when you listen close it has so musicality to it.
Concept: Every song had a concept to the control system. Bohemian Grove and Lust Demons talks about how women control a lot of the actions that men do. Some. SOPA and Terrorist threats talked about the government system that controls what people see, hear and perceive. Double Standards talks about just that; the standards of men and women are different. The list goes on and on but it all ties in all together.
Lyrics: Great. It’s so much and I can go on and on, but that will take too long and people prolly won’t read this.
Overall: I’ll give this a 9/10. Great album and I love the songs and everything ties together so well. I can honestly say that this album has changed my perception of a lot of things in the world and I hope it does for others. I gave it a 9 because there is always room for improvement. What I liked about this album is the lack of features. The only people that were featured was people in the TDE camp and like 2 others. It made me listen to him. Some artist like to dilute there album with Ross, Wayne, and Nicki features that I lose sight of the artist trying to say or do.
